I assume most of the people around me or know me well, would have got the memo that my parents and younger sister are in town. Yes, town as in Sydney! They will be here for two weeks, I'm one of the main reasons they are here but they are also here to attend my cousin's wedding.
Anyway, they arrived on Monday, visited them(they are not staying at were I am staying at the moment, but I think will be here next week). Anyway, The first reaction most of them gave me was that my skin got darker and my eyes got smaller. Seriously, eyes got smaller. Maybe because I've been gaining some weight that my cheeks start to puff up, making my eyes smaller.
On Monday, we had a dinner with my uncle and aunt, with my cousins and their cousins. Apparently, the world is just too small, my cousin's cousin(my uncle's nephew) and his wife and I take the same bus to the city every weekday. I know, what a small world. When I saw them, I was like, what the heck, this world is too small. And since then we do talk on the bus occasionally.
And on Tuesday, went to Fitness First, got really eager to sign up for a gym, and wah-lah, I'm now a member of Fitness First and have been doing some training already. Trying to bulk up a little, increase muscle mass, get toned, and lose weight, maintain healthy and so on.... And so far, the gym training has been awesome. I even have personal training hours with my personal trainer, Rafael. I hope to get in shape(not round) and maintain that.
Anyway, on Thursday after gym session, I met up with my parents in the city as it was late night shopping as well. But we didnt really shop much as most of it was done before I met them up. And sadly, even though I have my mum - my credit card - here, I didnt buy anything. :(
My aunt, grandma, sister, dad, and cousin ' Jess were there...
But we did have a really awesome dinner at Hurricane - one of the best Ribs you'll ever eat - Its a really famous restaurant for its Pork Ribs and to show you how famous it is, we had to wait about an hour to get a 7 seater(split into two tables due to the long wait). Even at the menu, it did state that a long queue is always expected. We went to the one in Darling Harbour and not the one in Bondi. And my my my, it was one heck of an awesome dinner in a while...
Didnt had time to take a picture of the full ribs as people were just diving in for them... Just so yummy (oh, we even had lamb)
Don't mind those bibs, well, it has lotsa sauce, I guess they give bibs just incase people stain their clothes.
I thought it is a waste to blacken the scenery with a flash... (the background is some of the buildings of Sydney from Darling Harbour at night)
The "kids" table.. And we had more food there.
So after the dinner, we head separate ways. Up north and down south.

Yesterday was all about parties... First was Wendy's Charity High Tea aimed to collect donations through a ALL-GIRLS high tea to build a home for a programme for children in Africa. A noble cost that is. Followed by that was Sarah M's 21(happy birthday Sarah).
At both events, I kinda helped out with the setting up, Pro-Bono style!!! Yes, you heard me, PRO-BONO! hahaha, what can I say.. I'm a good cousin and a lovely friend... wakakaka...
Anyway, at the high tea, the girls(wendy and her connect group girls) got together with nice cupcakes and sandwich and heaps of other nice things that you are suppose to find at a High Tea.
But I could stay long, had to go because it was only for the girls.
I was picked up by Sam and we went to Sarah's party vanue to help out with the set up. Woo, there were heaps of stuff to be fun up. The details, were just so nice, the glitter on the table were of hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades... and money symbols!
I did do my part helping out, making Sarah's 21 one to remember...
During the event, there were speech, there were dance, there were food...
And I was working as a shutter-bug.. Snap Snap Snap moments in the event. Kinda ran out of memory half way through the evening and had to rely on Wesley with his new camera.
After speeches and songs by Sarah's friends, we had Sam and Owen hosting. Which I reckon they could have done a better job with a more polished act if they were a little more experienced.
By, no doubt, the music played by DJ DNA(Adam) was just great, with Josh singing and add lip to the songs. The mood of the party was to the roof when people got to the dance floor dancing. And to my surprise, even Collette's mum was down on the dance floor dancing like the youngesters. And they were not normal ballroom music. They were House, RnB music.. suited for a dance club. And boy, that lady had some moves.
CHEERS TO YOU SARAH!

Today proved to yet another wonderFULL surprise and that has kept my spirits high for the rest of the day.
There isnt much to say, but I might just end this with a short post. Today, at 1PM(Aussie time), 10AM (Malaysian time), Malaysian students who graduated high school, doing their SPM went crazy and nervous as today, the results of the government exam is OUT!
And yup, the good news sprung from this... And mine mine mine, I did expect something outta it, but i was doubting sometimes that what i expect might not happen. But it did. And that was just awesome! Right on.
I think this good news came at the right time and will serve as a motivation that will push me further in my studies. I know I can do it. Because SPM wasnt my best, I took it easy, I didnt study as hard as I could. Bet if I put in more effort, things would be different. it would have been better. But I'm really happy for this.
I am truly BLESSED.

I havent been posting much post lately as everything has slowly turned into a routine and there is nothing special about it. Eventhough it is already some form of a routine. I still really love it. I enjoy it.
Getting up early and sleeping late has practically taken its toll on me. I'm sleepy but sleepless. The long period travelling to and fro from school has already sunk in. I FINALLY CAN SLEEP PROPERLY IN THE BUS! yay for that *rolls eyes*. But ever so once in a while, sometimes when you fall asleep your body might sway, and I think only once I leaned over on the shoulder of some complete stranger which was another commuter! Hahaha. And sometimes there were close "encounters" and I just had to jerk myself back up in an awkward manner.
Well, lectures and classes in Uni has certainly been picking up! Stuff get passed on faster. So the spoon-fed system back in Malaysia didnt actually help much in developing independent students. And time really passes by fast. It has been about 6 weeks since the course started and there might be another 6 weeks till the mid-semester exam! Horror. So if I wanna get good grades(I HAVE TO), I really have to step up to the occasion! Yes, I need to!
So, time for some reflecting! Not in the mirror, but the insides... And not the guts and all, but the inside self, if you can put it in that way. STEPPING UP!
As for church and Hillsong, it has never been better. As most uni courses start their first week in uni, so has Hillsong on campus! It is a great time to welcome back all uni students and let them know that Hillsong is right on campus! woo, isnt that fun? Being able to hang out with a bunch of really cool people (seriously Christians just cant get any cooler than those of Hillsong)! I mean it, there is a great variety of people there(I just made it sound like we're a bunch of assorted chocolates).
Powerhouse has been overwhelming as every weeek I learn something extra, something new that would certainly benefit me! And not to mention the full on Sunday nights!
I seriously think I've changed that much over the pass few weeks, but a change for the better. Don't you reckon???
ps: I miss my family and friends back home! Esp when I view photos or when the time where we usually be doing something comes... Awwwww, love you all heaps (that sounded gay, but I mean it)

On Sunday, I had a full on worshiping with one of the best Christian worship music by Hillsong! And it wasnt just like other nights where we would sing three awesome songs and sit down to listen to the sermons or to the preacher. Tonight was different as it was the Live Worship Recording night! It was part 1 of 3 parts of the recording of some of the best songs!
Besides having more cameras recording for the album's DVD and a bigger crowd showing their support by lifting their voice and sing till their mouth runs dry. There were lights that made the whole thing look so cool. Setting an atmosphere of a full on worship concert! Yeah man! The band came out and the crowd roared in the name of the mighty Lord, Jesus Christ! Before that, Brian Houston gave a speech, get the spirit stirring up!
The crowd were so energetic, getting in there and create an awesome atmosphere. And I didnt want to miss out on the fun as well. I was down in the mosh pit right in front of the stage, jumping, making waves, pushing each other around as the music picks up. There were many times, due to my small frame, I was kinda squished, but many people were so kind to me, as they knew I was small, they tried to move outta the way so they wouldnt be in my view.
As the music became sentimental to stir the spirit in us, hands were lifted high. Hearts were open and surrendered. Walls and barriers such as the wall of Jericho was taken down. As the voices raise, as the song settles in everyone of us. We could feel the Holy Spirit making its way around us. Not across, but through, but working its way around us! His presence was felt.
As the recording proceeded, different pastors came up to share a word of wisdom and when it came to confession and reconnection with God, many people had their hearts abandon, raised their hand to mark that they surrender themselves to the Lord as their saviour and want to have a relationship with him. Life were changing.
At the end of the night, the music quicken its pace and the crowd got back to its jumping feet as people shout the lyrics of the song out and again I was stuck in the swamp of people. The sea of people were just full on that night. And again, I got to mention that I feel so small here, I was being pushed yet again. And at the end I ended right in front of the stage, at the center front! How awesome is that. But as the crowd pushed, my whole body literally slam into the stage. Yup, the center of the stage, but people pulled me back up. But it wasnt long till I was slammed right back. But being able to stand in front of the stage is just awesome...
Can't wait for the album to come out. And make sure you pay attention when you watch the DVD, you might see me being squashed! hahaha!
